Financial Aid Policy for LexTalk World Summits

LexTalk World is committed to making high-quality legal education accessible to all members of the legal community. Financial aid, in the form of full or partial registration fee waivers, is available for attorneys who wish to attend our summits but are experiencing financial hardship.

1. Eligible Criteria for Award: Applications for financial aid will be reviewed and awarded based on the following criteria:

• Attorneys experiencing verified financial hardship or unemployment.
• Public interest attorneys and legal aid professionals.
• Government attorneys and full-time academics/law professors.

2. Specific Procedures to Request Aid: Attorneys seeking financial aid must follow these specific procedures:

• Submission: Applicants must send a formal written request via email to contact@lextalk.world with the subject line “CLE Financial Aid Request – [City/Year] Summit”.
• Timeline: Requests must be submitted at least fourteen (14) business days prior to the start date of the event.
  Required
• Information: The email must include the applicant’s full name, state bar number, current employment status (or employer name), and a brief statement explaining the basis for the financial hardship or public interest status.

All applications will be reviewed confidentially by the LexTalk World Executive Committee on a case-by-case basis, and applicants will be notified of their award status within five (5) business days of submission.
