Shally Bhasin is a litigator with over 25 years’ experience. A partner with Shardul Amarchand Mangaldas, India’s leading law firm, Shally has been involved in several impactful cases. She is a first generation lawyer. Shally remembers the time when there were few women members at the bar and takes great pride in the progress that women have made in the profession. She does legal work across sectors such as telecom, steel, aviation, infrastructure, finance, power and banking. Shally was involved in decriminalisation of homosexuality in the Supreme Court. She is also involved in same-sex marriage legalisation, currently being heard by Supreme Court.
