Gizem Yılmaz is an Attorney and 2013 graduate from Marmara University Faculty of Law, Istanbul, with a Masters’-Degree in European Union Law. A member of the Istanbul Bar Association since 2013, she co-founded a law office in 2015, she has specialized in arbitration, legal consultancy, mediation, and advocacy, Gizem is currently pursuing her doctoral thesis on Complex Arbitration in International Construction Contracts at Marmara University, conducting research at Queen Mary University of London. Some of her notable works include books on EU restrictions and Domestic Child Abduction under The Hague Convention. A dedicated practitioner of International Contracts Law and Private International Law, Gizem is also a member of the Council of Europe School of Politics.
