Yanira Armas is a tax lawyer with 28 years of experience and a Partner in Deloitte’s Tax & Legal practice since 2008. She specializes in strategic tax planning, tax reviews, administrative and judicial tax proceedings, and compliance involving direct and indirect taxes. International Tax Review has recognized her as a leading practitioner in Business Tax and Tax Controversies in Peru from 2019 to 2025 and included her among the Women in Tax Leaders. Yanira has taught tax law at the Pontificia Universidad Católica del Perú and is an active speaker and member of leading tax organizations, including AMCHAM Peru, IFA Peru, and the Peruvian Institute of Tax Law.
