Andrés Huacuja Bucay is a Mexican lawyer and legal scholar specializing in compliance and public procurement. He is currently a PhD candidate in Philosophy at Universidad Panamericana and holds multiple LL.M. degrees from New York University, American University, and ITAM, graduating summa cum laude. He also earned a master’s in History of Thought and undergraduate degrees in law and philosophy.
He serves as Senior Associate at Huacuja Betancourt Abogados, advising clients in pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and technology sectors on contracts, compliance, anti-corruption, AML, data protection, and cross-border disputes. He also worked with the United Nations Development Programme on rule of law, governance, and institutional accountability.
