Sophia S. Mustafa is a Counsel and is also a part of the corporate practice group specializing in Asset Management and Funds. Apart from dealing with investment funds, her legal expertise spans across a wide spectrum, from mergers and acquisitions to private equity, venture capital investments, joint ventures, and legal and regulatory advice. She has also advised leading various offshore and onshore GPs on fund structuring and formation; platform deals and captive investment platforms. She has also represented institutional LPs and other investors with respect to their commitments to investment funds in India. In addition, she has worked with several domestic and international venture capitalists and private equity funds for their inbound and outbound equity investment transactions.
