Abhishek Bharti is the General Counsel for GE Global Research based in Bangalore. His areas of expertise lie within business partnerships and areas of General Legal Advisory, litigation, contract management, government affairs, and regulatory compliance. Also, he is a certified in-house counsel in the Association of Corporate Counsel.
Mr. Bharti holds experience working with the United Nations as an International Civil Servant in Vienna, Austria, as Senior Legal Counsel at Tyco Electronics in Bangalore, and as a Management Trainee at Glaxo Smithkline in Gurgaon. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Law (BA LLB Hons.) from the University of Bangalore in 2006 and later completed his Master’s Degree from the Fletcher School of Law and Diplomacy under the TUFTS University, Massachusetts, US.
