Dr. M.V.K. Moorthy was Enrolled as an Advocate in 1978, he apprenticed under a leading Madras High Court Advocate. Awarded a Ph.D. in international law in 1984, Dr. Moorthy has been an arguing counsel before the Supreme Court, Andhra Pradesh High Court, and other forums. His impactful cases led to amendments in tax laws. A prolific contributor to legal education, he authored books on taxation, including those on GST Acts in 2017. A life member of prestigious legal institutions, he significantly shaped the landscape of constitutional and taxation laws through seminars, conferences, and writings.
