Keerthi is a Partner with Anantha Legal, Hyderabad. She practices in the areas of corporate law, real estate and private client.
Keerthi has experience in transactional matters, including structuring and documentation. She has undertaken various types of transactions such as acquisitions, foreign investments, joint ventures and infrastructure projects (including real-estate transactions).
She has substantial experience in general corporate and advisory matters.
Keerthi graduated with B.A., B.L(Hons.) degree from the NALSAR University of Law, Hyderabad in 2003 and was awarded four gold medals for academic excellence. She also holds a Masters of Law degree from Columbia University Law School, New York,USA

Host: What motivated you to choose the Legal sector as a domain of work and how has been your career span?
Keerthi: I have always been very analytical in my thought process and followed a problem solving approach. I chose legal sector as a domain of work as it is the only domain where the professionals are required to work on various other areas, it is not restricted to one particular field and crosses over all domains. I like challenging myself and legal sector enabled me to work in various areas thereby enriching my knowledge and enhancing my skills. Law remains the same but problems are unique, application of existing laws to various scenarios and arriving at a solution is very challenging and requires an analytical mind to arrive at the same.
Host: Key lessons or experiences that have enriched you and are currently aiding you in your work profile.
Keerthi: Experiences help one learn and unlearn in their lives and act as reference points for each individual in their way forward. The key lessons I learnt include that consistency, honesty, dedication and hard work are the main ingredients for success and these have been helping me always.
Host: What are the different challenges and opportunities that you have or had faced while working in this field?
Keerthi: When I started working, there were not many legal opportunities in Hyderabad, in the area of law I chose to work i.e. Corporate Sector. I was working in a law firm which helped me to work on various matters and help me hone my legal skills. Today Hyderabad has become a hub for commercial activities in India, and consistently working has helped me to establish a place and role for myself here and today I have worked on and am working on notable legal matters.
